Anchoring connects a scaffold to suitable building construction or another support as part of the assessed structural arrangement.
What does this mean for your project?
The connection belongs to the overall stability solution. Suitability of a wall cannot be established merely from the appearance of its masonry or finish. Information about the underlying construction and recent façade changes is therefore relevant during preparation.
Identify insulation, sensitive cladding and areas where contact with the elevation needs particular attention. These are project constraints, not an anchor design supplied by the customer. The provider determines the assessment and additional information needed for the proposed structure.
A connection obstructing façade work should not be temporarily removed by a user. Discuss the activity and request an assessed alteration. Making good around attachment locations also deserves a clear place in the agreed sequence between scaffold provider and façade contractor.

Can an anchor be loosened briefly for painting?
No. Have the working method and any alteration assessed by the responsible party instead of changing the connection yourself.
Are the same anchors suitable for every façade?
That cannot be assumed. Construction, material condition and the scaffold arrangement determine the assessment required.
