What does this mean for your project?
For scaffolding, logistics begins before the first component is erected. Materials must reach the address and then move to the intended location. A vehicle fitting along the street does not automatically establish an appropriate stopping point or an unobstructed route to the rear elevation.
Describe passages, available times and other users of the same space. Materials for façade work may follow a different route or programme from scaffold components. Identifying those movements separately reveals their interfaces before deliveries compete for the same temporary holding area.
The return journey also belongs in preparation. Dismantling becomes harder when a new extension, fence or storage arrangement obstructs the original route. Record which passage remains available and who informs the executing parties when conditions change during the project.
