Illustrative scaffolding; not a completed project

Mobile tower

A mobile tower is a wheeled scaffold structure selected as a distinct form of access for a suitable working situation.

A mobile tower is a wheeled scaffold structure selected as a distinct form of access for a suitable working situation.

What does this mean for your project?

Mobility distinguishes a tower from an installed façade arrangement, but does not automatically establish which task it can support. Ground conditions, available space and intended movement along the building remain relevant when choosing an appropriate form of access for the actual work.

Collecting a small tower is a different service from having a working area installed along an elevation. This website focuses on installed arrangements. When terminology is uncertain, describe the activity before selecting a product name that may suggest the wrong service.

A general definition is not an instruction for erection, relocation or use. Follow the responsible supplier’s information and assessment for the actual equipment. Do not combine components because they resemble an online photograph or appear similar to parts in a schematic drawing.

Practical questions

One more
thing.

Can I collect a mobile tower here?

This enquiry route concerns installed façade scaffolds, masonry scaffolds and access towers. An equipment rental company is more appropriate for collection-based hire.

Is a mobile tower always suitable for a small task?

Task size alone does not decide suitability. Location, activities and access need consideration together.
