Handover is the transfer of an assessed scaffold arrangement and its use information under the project’s agreed process.
What does this mean for your project?
The transfer should identify the area made available and its intended application. This distinction matters where several elevations or stages exist. A structure that appears complete is not independent evidence that all its parts have been released for every contractor’s activity.
Ask how current status is communicated and where user information can be found. Identify parties joining the project later as well. They have not automatically heard the explanation given to the person present at the original transfer, even when they share the same customer.
Following an alteration, establish which information remains valid and what further assessment is required. Handover is not an administrative tick that makes later changes irrelevant. Discuss reporting contacts and inspection arrangements alongside the transfer itself so users understand what happens afterwards.

One more
thing.
Does handover mean the end of hire?
No. Here it concerns transfer for use. Requesting dismantling and determining the financial hire period are separate arrangements.
Should an altered arrangement be discussed again?
Yes. Establish the assessment and updated user information needed before the changed situation is used.
